Field of Fortune – Fundraising Draw 2026
1. Promoter
The promoter of the lottery (“the Draw”) is Louth GAA County Board, located at:

The Draw will be organised and overseen by a sub-committee of Louth GAA appointed for this purpose (“the Organising Committee”).
Members of the Organising Committee, officers of the Louth GAA Management Committee, trustees, and their spouses/partners are precluded from purchasing tickets.
2. Purpose of the Draw
The purpose of the Draw is to raise funds for the development of the new Louth GAA Stadium.
3. Licence
The licence to operate this Draw was issued by Dundalk District Court, District of Louth, under Section 28 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1956.

Licence Period: 4th November 2025 to 3rd November 2026

This Draw is the only lottery to be conducted by Louth GAA during the licence period, and the total prize value will not exceed €360,000, in compliance with the Act.
4. Eligibility
The Draw is open to all natural persons aged 18 years or older.
It is a criminal offence under the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1956 to sell a lottery ticket to any person under 18 years of age.
Tickets purchased by, or for, persons under the age of 18 shall be declared null and void and another ticket will be drawn in its place.
Tickets may be purchased worldwide, provided it is lawful for the purchaser to do so in their home jurisdiction.
Tickets purchased by committee members, officers, or trustees of Louth GAA (and their spouses/partners) are void.
5. Tickets
Each ticket costs €50.
There is no limit on the number of tickets an individual may purchase.
The maximum number of tickets to be sold is 55,000.
Each ticket purchased entitles the holder to one entry in all draws, including early bird and bonus draws.
Gifted tickets are permitted, provided the nominated ticket holder is over 18 years of age.
Confirmation of purchase and a unique ticket number will be issued via email within 48 hours of purchase.
Tickets cannot be refunded once purchased, except where the Draw is cancelled by the Promoter. In the event of cancellation, a full refund of the €50 ticket price will be made.
6. Prizes
The prizes for the Draw are as follows:
First Prize: €200,000 cash
Second Prize: A car to the value of €25,000, supplied by Blackstone Motors
Third Prize: A €10,000 travel voucher, supplied by Clinton Travel
All prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered unless explicitly stated.
The Promoter reserves the right to add additional early bird and bonus prizes throughout the campaign.
All ticket holders who have purchased tickets prior to any early bird draw date will automatically be entered into that draw and all subsequent draws, including the main Draw.
7. Draw Date & Method
The main Draw will take place on 3rd August 2026 at a venue in County Louth to be confirmed.
All Draws, including early bird and bonus draws, will be independently observed and audited.
Draws will be open to the public and livestreamed on Louth GAA’s official channels.
The Promoter reserves the right to alter or extend any draw date by up to 60 days, if deemed necessary, and will notify ticket holders via official channels.
8. Claiming the Prize
Winners will be notified by telephone and/or email within 7 days of the Draw.
Winners must claim their prize within 14 days of notification.
Proof of age and valid identification will be required.
If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim their prize within the specified time, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner.
9. Insufficient Ticket Sales
A minimum of 10,000 tickets must be sold for the Draw to proceed.
If fewer than 10,000 tickets are sold by 48 hours prior to the Draw, the Draw will be cancelled.
Refunds of the full €50 ticket price will be issued within 28 days of cancellation.
No administrative or promotional expenses will be deducted from refunds.
10. Data Protection & Publicity
Personal data will be used solely for administration of the Draw and related Louth GAA activities, in compliance with GDPR.
By purchasing a ticket, entrants consent to being contacted by Louth GAA in relation to this Draw and future fundraising initiatives.
Entrants may opt out of such communications at any time by contacting [insert GDPR contact email]. Opting out will not affect participation in the Draw.
The winner’s name and town will be published.
The winner agrees that photographs and/or video recordings may be taken at the prize presentation and used in Louth GAA publicity materials.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser confirms their agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
